Research on how people learn has skyrocketed in a variety of disciplines such as cognitive psychology, educational research, and neuroscience.  This research has enormous implications for engaged and exciting teaching.  21st Century teaching practices can be solidly grounded on known principles of learning.  This interactive keynote will share some of the basic principles and encourage faculty to explore innovative applications that promote learning.
